Steph@Boomershoot.org
(Range Safety Officer & Boomershoot Publicist.) Stephanie’s interest in firearms
was sparked for self-defense reasons after experiencing two break-ins while home
alone and surviving gun violence from thugs in the streets of Chicago.
(Interestingly, handguns are banned in Chicago -- why so much gun violence?
Shouldn’t the streets and homes be free of crime? Read:
More Guns, Less Crime.)
After her Guns-Are-Good Enlightenment Phase of the late 90's, Stephanie
challenged corrupt IL anti-gun politicians (incl. now Governor
Rod Blagojevitch), founded the Chicago
Second Amendment Sisters,
became a certified firearms instructor, and ran $0 cyber campaigns for U.S.
Congress in 2000, 2002,
and 2004 as an
independent candidate (most recently battling
Jesse Jackson, Jr.). Stephanie is skilled in armed and unarmed self-defense,

Lyle Keeney
lyle@boomershoot.org
Range Officer, 49, Lyle has owned and operated
a musical instrument retail business and custom instrument repair shop since
1978. Lyle is married to a local schoolteacher and they have two children, ages
9 and 14. Lyle grew up shooting with a rifle in Northeast Washington State, but
put aside shooting for many years, until the debate arose over the Brady Bill.
Says Lyle, "I figured I should buy a few good guns while I still had the chance
to do it legally."
Lyle's 26 years as a
musical instrument technician, and as a live sound reinforcement engineer, have
provided a unique perspective toward firearm mechanics and ergonomics. In 1999,
he and his brother Randall started UltiMAK Enhanced Performance, a firearm
accessory design and manufacturing business, and were soon awarded their first
U.S. patent. UltiMAK products are now
used by U.S. and coalition security forces, in increasing numbers, to improve
the utility of the assault rifle.
Lyle is also certified as an NRA Pistol and Home Firearm
Safety instructor.
